These are some pictures from the rest of the month of May - just lots of playdates indoors, lots of swimming, and trying to stay cool as the temperatures get closer and closer to 100+ degrees!

Another major thing that happened in May, was that McKenna got mono. Yes, even toddlers can get mono apparently. She had a consistent 102-104 fever for a week, no appetite, and a sore throat....but no funny rash, no cough, no runny nose, no diarrhea, nothing else.....and after testing for strep (negative), a UTI (negative)...the doctor suggested a blood test since she wasn't getting better....and low and behold, it came back positive for mono. So, that's wasn't fun....I took one picture of her laying down watching a movie. We watched a lot of TV that week because she was so fatigued and wanted to just lay around and do nothing.....it was terrible! On a good note, she shouldn't ever get it again which is nice because it's even worse in adults!
